The students have completed unpacking the standard in a language they understand. They brought their IAN home today so ask them to share some of the synonyms that they found for the unknown words within the standard. They will have sponges on them starting Monday, November 9, 2015.
The end of the month is quickly approaching and the Student of the Month for November will be announced on November 30, 2015. Please remind your child how important it is to come to student ready to learn.
This week we will be working on narrative writing using the Kansas Writing Strategy.
Essential Question: What are my five senses? How can adjectives color my writing? How can I use my senses to write descriptive sentences?
